His distinguished 30-year career with National Instruments culminated in the position of Senior Vice-President, leading a $1.2B Global Sales and Marketing Organisation.
Francis sits on the Boards of several organisations, including FLEXIS (Smart Energy Systems Project), the Cardiff University Strategic Oversight Board, RTL Ltd and VERV (makers of the Home Energy Assistant).
He was awarded a Visiting Professorship, Cardiff University School of Engineering in 2019.
