Charles Longbottom and Andy YorkBranding and Content
Charles Longbottom Experience has taught Charles to enjoy the beauty of restraint in design. But he’s also happy to tear up the rulebook when he sees the opportunity. Learning the craft of corporate identity at Wolff Olins, he founded design consultancy Circle in London to create UAE’s first energy brand – Emarat Dubai National Oil Corporation. Tasks later encompassed the radical red global rebrand for Bain &Company to making MCC the original global cricket experience. He now works from his barn, involving clients in the process and pulling in talented individuals to help create and deliver beautiful, powerful and strategic work. Such as the sector challenging development of the VI brand, simultaneously making the company more accessible while re-establishing its inventive reputation. Andy York Andy helps brands and businesses use language more imaginatively and effectively to engage the audiences that matter in the ways that count. Originally an award winning advertising Creative Director and agency founder, Andy switched to brand language consultancy by creating the first brand story telling project for Ericsson. Andy subsequently worked with many of the world’s leading brands and brand consultancies before joining Interbrand as Director of Verbal Identity. Preferring a life less corporate he now works with brands and businesses of all sizes and stages of development. Which is how he met Charles. His experience in health and medicine includes AstraZeneca, VI, Mölnlycke, GSK, Roche and Nuffield Health. Away from there, the likes of Tesco, Eurostar, Wimbledon, USwitch and Nissan. |
